About Me

I think I lost my identity when I gave birth to my son. Let me see if I can remember… My name is Michelle.  I am approaching 37 quickly.  I am a stay at home Mom to the love of my life.  My son Josh inspires me everyday.  He’s approaching 10 years old way too fast.  Josh was diagnosed with a disability called 1p36 Deletion Syndrome when he was 3 weeks old, and our lives haven’t been the same. Josh is mentally and physically impaired, but don’t let that fool you.  He is super smart and hysterically funny.

I think it is time to update my introduction. I will be 40 in a few weeks and Josh will be a teenagers in 3 months. Aaahhh… where does the time go?

I created this blog to express myself. Watch out world I have a voice. Not everyone wants to hear what I have to say but some of you may appreciate what pops into my brain.

I am extremely passionate about special needs topics and advocating for the rights of those who can’t speak for themselves.. I also enjoy photography ( my weekend job). Josh and I make a lot of fun messes. The blog is Josh and my world. I hope you enjoy our stories and have as much fun as we have with our kids fun activities and DIY projects.  Maybe you will even be inspired!
