Sometimes it amazes me to think of how much money I have spent over the years for items I could easily make.
A few months ago I bought a picture frame it was black with a large butterfly, after I put it up it hit me. Sure enough I was right that picture frame was painted black and the crafter mod podged scrapbook paper to the frame.
This was a simple enough idea so I tried it.
I bought a unfinshed frame for $3
I have an abundance of scrapbook paper so I picked one.
I traced the shape of the picture frame and cut where necessary.
I mod podged the paper to the frame.
Mod podged over the frame.
Let dry and repeated.
It was really that simple. I will never pay a lot of money for a decorative picture frame again.
